Drywall Repair in Pearl, MS

Holes, cracks, nail pops and stained ceilings patched, textured and painted so the repair disappears. For Pearl homes, rentals and businesses.

Drywall problems we fix in Pearl

A lot of Pearl’s neighborhoods have been around for decades, and drywall shows that age first. Houses settle, so cracks open at the corners of doors and windows. Nail pops show up along the ceiling. Doorknobs punch holes in the wall behind them. A small roof or plumbing leak leaves a brown ring on the ceiling. In rentals, a move-out usually leaves a list of dings, anchor holes and patches that need to come out before the next tenant moves in.

  • Doorknob holes, dents and gouges
  • Settling cracks at door and window corners
  • Nail pops and loose tape at seams
  • Water-stained or sagging ceiling sections (after the leak is fixed)
  • Anchor, TV-mount and picture-hanging holes
  • Damaged outside corners and corner bead
  • Patches left after plumbing or electrical work
  • Small sections of new drywall

How a patch should look when it’s done

A good drywall repair is one you can’t find afterward. We cut damaged board back to solid material and add backing where it’s needed. Then we tape and finish in several thin coats, sanding between them. Next we match the surrounding texture, whether it’s orange peel, knockdown or smooth. Last, we prime and paint. Patches that still show through the paint usually skipped the texture match or the primer, so we don’t skip either.

Water-damaged ceilings and walls

If a stain came from a leak, the leak has to be fixed first or the stain comes back. Painting over a stain without sealing it doesn’t hold up either. Board that is soft, crumbling or sagging gets cut out and replaced, not painted over. If we see signs that a leak is still active, we’ll point it out before we patch.

Rentals and businesses in Pearl

For landlords, we can price the whole make-ready list together: drywall, paint, doors, locks and trim. For stores and offices, we patch and repaint around your business hours, and handle drywall around new openings or changed partitions. See Commercial Refresh.

Common Questions

Can you match the texture on my walls?

In most cases, yes. We match common textures like orange peel and knockdown, plus smooth walls, so the patch blends in once it’s painted.

Do you paint after the repair?

Yes. We prime and paint the repaired area. If the old paint has faded and a spot repair would stand out, we’ll tell you, and we can repaint the whole wall.

Is it worth calling you for one small hole?

Yes. Small repairs are welcome. If you have a few other items, like a door that sticks or trim that needs caulk, add them to the same visit.

How do I get a price?

Text a few photos to (601) 850-9894, or use the online estimate form. Include a photo from a step back so we can see the size of the area.
