Why doors and windows act up in Mississippi

Heat and humidity make wood swell and shrink through the year, and settling can shift a frame out of square. Often a door that rubs or won’t latch can be fixed with an adjustment, new hardware or shims instead of a full replacement. When rot or damage has set in, replacement is usually the better value. We’ll tell you which one you need.

Commercial doors

For offices, stores and restaurants we handle door hardware, closers, thresholds, interior doors and trim as part of our commercial refresh and facility maintenance work.

Common Questions

Can you install a door or window I already bought?

Usually, yes. Send us the product details and photos of the opening so we can check the size and condition before the install.

Should I repair or replace my door?

It depends on the condition of the door and frame. Adjustments, new hardware or weatherstripping fix many problems. Rotted frames or damaged slabs usually call for replacement. We’ll look and explain the options.

Do you handle the trim and paint afterward?

Yes. We can install new casing and trim, and patch and paint around the new door or window so the job looks finished.
